Hello!

I'm Irene, creator of That Shore Store.  

 

By profession, I am a television producer and director and an international events planner.  I am guess now I can add shop owner to the list!

 

As a child, we weren't big beach people, as we would go to Ireland to visit all of our family.  However, I finally had the chance to spend summers in North Wildwood in the late 80 and early 90s while in college.  I worked at the Pizza Hut on Rio Grande and delivered pizza for Dominos.  During that time, I developed a great love for our island. 

 

My career since then has taken me all over the world and provided amazing experiences.  A few years ago, I purchased an investment property here and spent some time on the off season while doing renovations.  That time rekindled my love for the island.  In 2021, I decided I wanted to be a bigger part of contributing to the community, and That Shore Store was born!   Any time I am here and I need a unique or fun gift, I would drive to Cape May to get it.  And I started to wonder why we didn't have such a shop here in the Wildwoods.  So, I opened one!

 

I carry a large assortment of home decor, dinnerware, barware, candles, scarfs, mugs, jewelry, local artist creations, greeting cards, items for your pet or the next baby shower you are attending!  Please stop by and say hello and see all that I have in store.
